Don’t you hate it when your lipstick bleeds out after two cups of coffee? I am a working woman and I like to look good at work. Even on an evening out with my girls or my family I love to dress up and look beautiful. But when my lipstick fades away, it’s quite frustrating. Whatever color I choose in the morning, nude or bright red and even fuchsia I don’t want to keep on adjusting my lipstick every hour for that perfect pout. Ladies I am going to share my secret for a perfect pout.
For that perfect shade of lipstick you do not need any special brand to last all day and night. All you really need is some special care and a bit of your time with your every day makeup products. Take some time to apply your lipstick the right way. Follow these simple steps to stop your lipstick from bleeding
Like your facial skin your lips need some TLC. While exfoliating, we must take care of our lips. All you need is to exfoliate your lips every night with a bit of sugar and your toothbrush. Dampen your toothbrush and with the help of it rub sugar on your lips. Apply your favorite lip balm and leave it over night. You will find them soft and pink in the morning. Scrubbing your lips with sugar helps in removing dead skin and applying your lip balm hydrates them.
Before we apply makeup to face, we need to prepare a base for the makeup to last long; similarly we need to apply concealer as foundation before applying lipstick. It helps the color to stick and maintain that color. For a lasting effect and an even color, use a waterproof concealer.
- LIP LINER
Before you apply your lip color, outline your pout with the matching lip liner. It forms a barrier so that lipstick will never bleed over the sides of your lips. We often forget to apply the lip liner, but it is the critical step for that perfect pout. It gives a perfect definition to your lips.
- LIP COLOR
Use a lip brush for applying your lip shade for that perfect finish. A lip brush is great choice giving you full control and precision. Use a retractable one for hygiene as well as protecting your makeup bag, the lipstick won’t smudge everywhere. Do not forget to clean your lip brush every two months to protect the brush.
Grab a tissue and blot. After you have applied the first layer of your lipstick with a brush, take a tissue and blot lightly to take off excess. If you have excess products on your lips it is a big turn off. Blotting helps you remove this excess.
- COMPACT POWDER
After you have blotted away the excess product from your lips, take some translucent powder or compact powder and with the help of your finger tip, dab gently all over your lips. It helps in setting and sealing the color. Using the compact powder, the lipstick is less likely to slip or fade away.
- FINAL COAT
Once through with the powder, apply your lipstick with the help of the lip brush for the final coat. This is the last step to give you even smudge proof, bleed proof lipstick.
Follow these seven steps every day for the perfect pout. Look gorgeous and perfect everyday at your work place or evening out. Never leave house with the fear of your lipstick bleeding out. Enjoy great color that stays for the longest time.
